Based in Los Angeles, she gained notoriety early in her career, at the age of 19, with her collection, ICONS, hand-painted images of iconic musical figures delicately overlapped with hand-written lyrics. As a painter and a designer, Tonia combines color, lines, and text into geometric patterns that overlay various materials.
