Deta Blues aka Mississippi Delta Blues- one of the earliest forms of country blues, coming to life at the turn of the century. It’s rootsy and sparse, with passionate and haunting vocals that are echoed by slide guitar and the blues harp. It’s the style of Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, and Son House. You KNOW the sound when you’re listening to some Delta Blues. #blues #deltablues #mississippi
