Car Friends: Sold the trusty and frankly wonderful X3 M40i and picked up this landrover V8 Defender 90 Carpathian edition! This is the Defender with the most cylinders and the least doors, which makes it a rather unique and exciting offering! This is quite different from anything I have owned in the past. It manages to marry Off Road capability, refinement and Jeremy Clarkson style POWERRRR with its 517hp Supercharged V8! Very excited to get the hang of this one and see how it handles daily tasks and eventually some off roading or the odd canyon run! I’ll update with more thoughts after I have spent more time with it.
