I loved learning at @beyondvangogh that Vincent Van Gogh had a brother - Theo. Regarded as the better artist, Vincent lived most of his life in Theo’s shadow. Have you ever heard of Theo Van Gogh? Walking through the exhibit you read quotes from Van Gogh’s life leading up to the infamous “cutting off his ear” event. Next, you enter the immersion room featuring his most famous works projected onto the walls and floor. This room is a complete sensory experience skyrocketing his paintings into a three-dimensional world.
