Finca Noa Farm in Puerto Rico! The highlight of our time at @somos_inc was the day of service at @finca.noa farm! We loved touring the stunning Finca Noa agroecological farm - dedicated to the cultivation of passion fruit - which is the raw material used for the production of many local gourmet artisanal products. I loved learning about how they grow not only passion fruit but also giant pineapples, yucca, velvet beans, bread fruit (and their villainous monkey) and more. But even better was learning how local women work together to produce fantastic products allowing them to support their families. From the baked goods to the hand made sangria (our favorite!) it was so impressive. Not to mention the absolutely outstanding lunch they made from scratch (including papaya marmalade and passion fruit pudding) that was our favorite meal on the island. …just watch out for the ants.
