Philly! Oh, you great city! Just 2.5 hours from Long Island and filled with so much history! School starts tomorrow but we snuck in one last summer trip after studying up on one of our favorite movies - National Treasure. We had a whirlwind 48 hours (was it even 48 hours?) seeing some pretty cool stuff including: -Eastern State Penitentary -The Franklin Institute & The Harry Potter Exhibition -Independence Hall -The Liberty Bell -Betsy Ross House -Franklin Printing Press -Elfreth’s Ally -Franklin Square’s magical dancing fountain, carousel & mini Philly mini golf -Outdoor murals and sculptures galore Street parking was easy and the traffic g-ds were kind. We even got some inside info on filming the movie but you’ll have to wait for the blog post for that T.
