I scouted my first spot of the evening for close to 2 hrs. Over the 1.75 miles I covered I didn’t see any recent sign. Not many beans being eaten, no fresh droppings & no tracks. So, I bailed. Although the wind was “ify” I made a late move to hedgerow that roughly 30 yards wide. It was an area I’ve never hunted but saw a couple deer the evening before. There weren’t many trees that were good for climbing that also offered clear shooting lanes & weren’t on top of where I suspected the deer to be bedding. I ended up finding a patch of persimmon trees that was dropping & fresh sign. So, I got 1 stick high in an 8 in persimmon tree. She came in with 10 min of light left. She weighed in at 104 lbs. #bowhunter #saddle #saddlehunting
