That's exactly what happened the morning I shot this buck. I walked out in the morning with the intention of sitting in a completely different stand. Half way into the field I changed my mind. Although the wind wasn't perfect for this stand I just couldn't get this idea out of my head. I walked to the base of the stand and thought I was making a mistake but daylight was approaching fast. I decided to just climb up and make the best of it. After 20 mins or so I notice a deer walking under my stand. As it got lighter I noticed it was a buck, not a shooter buck a decent sized buck. I watch it for about 15 mins and start to realize I'm completely covered up in deer, 15 to be exact. The longer I sat the cooler this hunt became.
