Shaker Style Panelling
Hi all! I get lots of questions on the shaker style panelling so I thought I’d put some pics and videos together to help.
The strip’s themselves are cut to size from a large MDF sheet from wicks. We got this delivered as I didn’t have a van to collect it in. I believe B&Q used to cut them for you, or places like Gibbs and Dandy if you have one local to you.

The MDF sheet was 9mm thick I choose this depth as it was the same as my skirting too so that it would fit flush
The panelling is stuck onto the wall with grip fill you’ll need a caulking gun for this - which of cause you can use to caulk with too once the panels are stuck on.
The caulk & grip fill are purchased from wicks, it can also be found in places like screw fix or B&Q.
I then placed on top a piece of wooden decorative beading and then on top of this a piece of door ...
