As a child I used to go to church every day at school in Brighton. Some days we’d fall asleep in the pews. That was always because the teacher preaching in morning assembly was dull AF. But now and then, the most charismatic, passionate teacher would give an inspiring lecture in the pulpit. I’ve never forgotten the impact of both those 2 types of teachers. Type 1. Those who give you death-by-powerpoint (or warbling!) and slowly you’d count every single candle in church just to make time pass by quicker! 🕯️ 🕯️ 🕯️ Type 2.
