#Repost larajackson4 ・・・ Several classes of #Arizona alumni were very fortunate to work with an incredibly #passionate and #charismatic volunteer coach, Bill Berhens who had an eye for #details unmatched to this day in my experiences. He would record splits, stroke tweaks and many other random but helpful facts for every #swim , at every meet, for every #swimmer . I don't know how he did it. A decade later, he is still a pillar for me to lean on. I received this frame in the mail yesterday. It hung in his office for 30 years when he was a coach, and I am honored to carry the torch. Anyone who knows Bill, knows this kind of thoughtfulness is typical of him. #Cheers to coaches like Coach B who truly lift their athletes up higher than they believed they could ever go.
