Former snooker world No. 1 Mark Allen said he is considering his future in the sport and that he is “just trying to survive” in an emotional live television interview.
After six months out, Allen, 40, made his return at the Northern Ireland Open at Waterfront Hall and fell to a 4-2 defeat to Jordan Brown.
The Northern Irishman’s last appearance before his loss in Belfast on Tuesday came in May when he was defeated in the semi-final of the World Championship by Wu Yize.
