ua_socialwork Doctoral Student Carmen Reese Foster brought home UA’s first regional 3MT trophy after competing in the Conference of Southern Graduate School’s Three Minute Thesis competition! 🏆 After years of research + development, Foster condensed her work into a 3-minute thesis, raising awareness regarding the negative impact that COVID and racial trauma have had on Black social work professionals - she hopes her work will help inspire a change in schools, workplaces and communities to positively impact Black people. Foster will go on to compete at the 3MT nation level this upcoming December in San Francisco!
