The other day I was catching up with someone and they randomly asked, "Are you #happy?"... as simple a question it was, I realized it's seldom a question people actually ask each other let alone ourselves, but what I loved was the fact that after brief thought I answered with a comforting and simple, "Yes! Yes, I am actually!😊" and that brief moment of self-validation swept over me and lingered for the rest of the night. How satisfying it was to say I was happy and mean it with every pore in my body. Lol I can reflect on my life at this point and know that although nothing is perfect, things go wrong, disappointments happen and frustrations bubble up, there is still so much MORE that brings #peace, #joy and #love to my being. I'm so contented with where I am in my journey so far that the excitement of where its taking me next trumps any negativity that might try to steer me off course .
