The Immigration (Transition) (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2026, introduces new provisions for expedited services, refunds and express fees. This means: • Workforce Opportunities & Residency Cayman (WORC) will offer expedited processing fees for Temporary, Business Visitors and annual work permits. • Expedited applications will be subject to express fees, in addition to any other fees related to the application Refunds for applications: • Refunds will not be provided in respect to any delays attributed to any statutory, regulatory, administrative or legal obligation requiring compliance • Written notice will be sent by WORC to notify the applicant prior to the payment of non-refundable express fees • Any delays caused by further review of the application or any other legal reason will be communicated in writing to the applicant Express Fees: • Where an express fee was paid for a temporary work permit application before the new legislation takes effect on 1 May 2026, any applicabl...
