Honouring those who served. On Sunday, 9 November, a special Remembrance Day service was held at Elmslie Memorial United Church to pay tribute to Caymanians who served in World War II — many in the Royal Navy and Merchant Marines, protecting vital supply routes across the seas. The Cenotaph at Elmslie honours those who never returned home, while the Seamen’s Memorial serves as a reminder of the courage and service that helped shape our island nation. In attendance were Her Excellency the Governor Mrs Jane Owen, the Honourable Premier Andre M. Ebanks, Leader of the Opposition Mr. Joseph Hew, Members of Parliament, members of our uniformed services, senior leaders, and members of our community — all united in remembrance. For the sacrifice, for the service, for protection — we remember you, we thank you. #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #CaymanIslands #WeWillRememberThem #HonourAndRemember
