Mr. Tokyo just opened a brand-new premium location in Charlotte. I’ve been a fan of Mr. Tokyo since I moved here, so I had to go check it out and let y’all know how it was! This one has a nicer feel than the other locations. You order everything on an iPad instead of the pencil and paper, and there’s a self serve soup and salad bar so you can grab that yourself without waiting. It’s all you can eat, with lunch at $21.99 and dinner at $34.99. I tried a little bit of everything, including the wagyu roll, the 8 hour tonkotsu ramen, and the Mr. Tokyo premium roll that has lobster in it. The BBQ squid was a great option too, and a favorite of mine is the angel hair roll. Also, for the grand opening they’re doing 10% off Monday, October 12 through Wednesday, October 14.
