Swatch has been slowly coming back into some serious work as he prepares to run the Intermediate at @bouckaertfarm . In eventing, we have seasons that at a certain level cumulate to a Long-Format FEI event. Afterwards, like with Swatch in April, you let them go on break. I call it “letting the horse down.” Then, you start to rebuild the fitness and muscle. . When I began legging Swatch back up (bringing him back into work after his vacation) I booked a call with @buckeyenutrition . This isn’t a privilege as a rider representing their brand, but is open to every horse owner interested in their products! . I was able to discuss what I hoped to fine-tune in his diet. For now that was to increase his energy levels and provide the best diet so that he could recover from our conditioning days. We opted to increase the Gro N Win ration balancer he currently ate and add back in their Ultimate Recovery. . He feels incredible , and I can’t wait to get him out this weekend! . . . #poweredbybuck...
