Last episode for Jog Outfits . I wanted to summarize some of my personal rules for a successful jog outfit as I conclude the afternoon of try-ons. . 1️⃣ The outfit should be suitable to sprint with horse in hand . That means nothing to distract the horse or possibly fall/blow off. (There’s a photo floating around of my own barefoot jogging back in my first 3***L and the year I wore a hat, it needs to be glued on your head ) 2️⃣ The attire is to show respect for the ground jury. Respect first, fashion second. While there are some famous American Flag suits in the best dressed categories, if you are attending your first FEI and want to make a good impression to the stewards, lean towards a professional fit. 3️⃣ Once the respectful outfit is found, you don’t have to do more.
