Follow along for some evening barn chores! Maybe twice a week I take on the evening barn chores in addition to my horse’s chores, and here’s a BTS of what’s involved! . Usually about 30 minutes in I start questioning all my life choices. Like, how does a 32-year old well-educated woman with a high profile job in private-equity find herself mucking stalls at 8pm, and then I realize it is the product of my own choices. I want to be here. Over cocktails in the city or a family at home. I picked it. To be honest, this is a great way to take a bit off my board, I’m at the barn anyways, and it gets my steps in. But, those nights I volunteer after a day in the office, it gets a little existential. 😅 .
