Day three of competition at
#DBHHT and it wasn’t a let down. I knew cross-country day would be the very best day, but I couldn’t be prepared for the electric feeling of watching the horses gallop out of the start box.
.
With our media badges we were able to stand with other News and Broadcasting teams (we as in my mother and I who tried to look as professional but the most discrete as possible) This was the highlight of my day to see each team come into the area and send off their rider. Then, those most successful came galloping back to meet their team cheering and crying. (Happy Tears)
.
Then, we made our way up the course to catch each jump.
.
The crowds were insane. We were able to view each jump, but I couldn’t get over how many thousands of people attended not even to see the horses! There were tailgates, all the young people gathering around the bars, and ladies shopping. Not to mention all the dogs. I could make a reel of all the dogs! I can’t wait to get back to my own!
