Swatch and I ran over to Aiken for the weekend before our first competition of the year in two weeks. It’s always a good check for me to go see allisonspringereventing who I worked for in college to check where I’m at in my homework. Do I get to jump or do I need an extra day of working turn on the forehand. (It’s happened 🤦🏼‍♀️) But, Swatchers has been so super and feels ready to tackle our next event! . Our main focus has been straightness, and over fences maintaining the consistent rhythm. Whether a touch short or long, if my equitation is very secure and I have a straight and forward horse, we should be right on the 💵. We all know my eye to a jump is 💩 so I had to be diligent not to change the canter if I see that last minute takeoff. Swatch was super thrilled with that idea and earned lots of 🍪 . . . . #eventing #eventinghorse #eventinglife #eventinglive #eventingnation #horse #horses #horsegirl #horsegirlenergy #horsegirlproblems #equestrian #equestrianlife #equestrianevent...
