Day 1 at rockinghorsestables in the open modified. Swatch bested the division of fourteen with a 27.3 in dressage. So pleased with him, but I know there are more points to take off. . He warmed up lovely in show-jump, and put in an honest round with one rail into the combination. (Was he 💩 over the jump? TBD. I’ll allow it) I’m really trying to focus on finding a good rhythm. I have a very untrustworthy eye to a distance. (It’s worse than any boy. It comes like once a month, and I think I have it then it leaves again.) So, the past few weeks I’m just thinking good rhythm, balance, forward. I don’t think I found the best distances even in this round, but the rhythm and canter in the priority allowed Swatch to stay confident throughout. . On to cross country tomorrow! . . #eventing #eventinghorse #eventinglive #eventinglifestyle #equestrian #equestrianathlete #equestrians #equestrianlife #equestrianstyle #horse #horses #horsegirl #horsegirlenergy #horsegirls
