Fernhill Swatch Out, Swatch was super over the prelim course at Tryon. I thought I’d tackled most of my anxt competing, but this weekend I was pulling out all the tricks to soothe my nerves. I did the breathing, the thoughts, the things. I had a tight chest all day until about three fences in on course, when I kicked it off and had a really fun time on what I thought was a beefier course. But it felt even silly then to be so nervy, when I’ve jumped plenty of courses and he’s given me no reason to be so. .
