I was thrilled to receive the shires_usa Highlander Fly Sheet. I reviewed the entire selection and picked the Highlander because of a few non-negotiable criteria: I’m Georgia most fly sheets are just too heavy to wear during the day. The horses will sweat under-neath them. So I wanted a mesh material that was breathable and sits off the skin. Additionally I wanted shoulder and whither relief. Lastly, for my sake I wanted easy to use straps/buckles. The Highlander is durable but lightweight. LaRu has really worn this 24/7 minus our rides and comes in the barn cool and comfortable! I couldn’t be more impressed. This sheet is also on the medium price end, which I feel makes it the best value for quality. . Safety Tip: when throwing on blankets/sheets always secure blanket from front to back. If LaRu trotted off the sheet would stay put.
