🌟 horsepilot . Grooming Tip! So I braided 3-horses 5x today. When prepping a mane for braiding there’s a few useful tips for tight, neat braids. 1️⃣ Pull mane. In the hunters, we were told 4”, I don’t mind a touch longer, but seeing an untouched wooly mane gives me nightmares 2️⃣ The mane will hold if it’s a little dirty. While Sprays help, it makes the mane crunchy. You can get braiding wax, but a greasy mane will turn out the best braids. 3️⃣We want the braids even and the same size, pulling evenly will make this easier. So, make sure to pull the mane by the poll as you do at the withers. 4️⃣ A sleezy goes a long way, when the horse starts rubbing its mane.
