I have to give it to my best girl. She has been a 🐉 this year checking so many goals of mine for our first CCI1*, actually first 1* ever. Then, she and I completed two intermediates this fall. So in love with this girl. And so undeserving. I’ve made just as many backwards steps as forwards ones, but finding the right horse at the right time has really allowed my goals as a rider to come to fruition. I didn’t need Frye 5 years ago. Or 10. I needed my lovely Burger an older school master. Then I needed my tricky but reliable mare Gracie. None of which were going to take me to my first 2** or Advanced, but they gave me the confidence and experience to bring along my next ❤️. . .
