I have gotten so much out of my three months in Maryland. From riding to get from A to B, Val has really helped me use strategic and short exercises to teach my horse how to use her body. We don't over jump, raise the fences too high, or spend an exorbitant amount of time in the saddle. I don't think you should be fooled by trainers who make you ride otherwise. By taking the time to pinpoint weaknesses and work slowly to develop her strength and form first, I'm not worried about my next show or whether my horse will finish confidently, the foundation has been set!
