Racing for a mate 🏃💨 In the world of grebes, courtship is a spectacle of speed and precision. In a breathtaking display known as rushing, these birds race across the water at 20 steps per second, covering 60 feet in just 7 seconds—defying gravity in a synchronised dance. For perspective, even the fastest humans manage around 5–6 steps per second! #EarthCapture by mukul.soman . . . . #BirdsOfTheWorld #WildlifeOnEarth #Photography #AnimalBehaviour
