Happy #DistressorTuesday! Both of these have been hysterically-modified with obscenely-filthy IC opamps, caps, rebuilt power supplies, different wiring and solder, and some overall tweaks to the behavior and shape of the compression knee. Lately I’m using these on parallel 808’s; one of them set for snap and spank, and the other set for absolute obliteration. LOVE these. #distressor #mixing #music #producer #empiricallabs #hiphop #el #recording #sound #musicstudio #studio #recordingstudio #musicproducer #musicproduction #rock #audioengineer #mix #audio #studiolife #musiccompressor #compressor #empiricallabs #soundcompressor #tape #amazing #warmth #harmonic
