In Cameron Highlands Malaysia, we used to forage for berries, flowers and mushroom to play “masak” (cook). We would go deep into the jungle and sometimes the mushrooms were edible. I remember them being the most mushroom mushrooms I’ve ever tasted. Knorr challenged me to go to great lengths to cook a dish so I went deep into the blue mountains to find mushrooms to cook one of the most popular dishes in my old restaurant, sizzling Beef with mushrooms.
