In March, I traveled through Texas on a Bike Bus tour with stops in Denton and Austin in partnership with Woom Bikes. But I wasn’t ready to head home just yet. I made a surprise trip to Portland, Texas to Pump Up the Bike Bus for Coach Vacek—a passionate PE teacher who started a Bike Bus at her school earlier this year. The joy on her face, the energy of the students, and the love from the entire community were unforgettable. This is what active transportation is all about. 🚲❤️ A huge thank you to our amazing partners for supporting this moment and surprising Coach Vacek with some incredible gifts: @woom bikes @Cleverhood @Lectric @bernhelmets @SOUNDBOKS Let’s keep the movement rolling!
