I went to Capitol Hill nervous as HELL… and walked away with proof that using your voice can actually create change. 🇺🇸❤️ I had the incredible opportunity to advocate alongside Responsibility.Org, speaking with lawmakers about something that matters deeply to me as a mom: protecting our kids, preventing underage drinking, eliminating drunk driving and encouraging responsible decision-making. Was I nervous? ABSOLUTELY. 😂 But I reminded myself that courage isn’t about walking into the room without fear. Sometimes it’s walking in with shaky hands, saying what needs to be said anyway and hoping someone listens. And someone DID. 🙌🏼 After our conversations on Capitol Hill, Congressman Mike Levin agreed to record a PSA supporting the mission we were there fighting for.
