He lives & breathes these two things so much he has his own pizza dough company & has several series dedicated inspired by @nfl teams -I wanted to show how you can pizza dough for more than just pizza SECONDARY INSPO -Alex is Italian & I’ve always thought that it’s a cuisine that is so versatile & really can join other cultures so i wanted to give homage to his Italian roots -Because of Alex’s love of pizza, NFL & being Italian, I wanted to combine aspects of each into one dish -I’ve never gone to a tailgate so this was a chance for me to make a dish that I think would be great for a tailgate -Here are a few examples of changes (1) Pizza dough as flatbread (2)Using beer to deglaze/moisture; ode to Tailgating (3) Using Italian tomato & chili products to mimic the flavors of pizza as the main component of an iconic Nor...
