I promise I’m not crying 😭😭 I’m honoured to be part of @IT Cosmetics’s celebrating REAL skin and embracing all of our ‘flaws’. Growing up, I suffered from severe eczema (to the point where my mum had to glad wrap me to sleep so I wouldn’t itch) and spent several years of my life in and out of specialist dermatologist appointments in the hopes to cure it. It wasn’t until I started going to school when I became aware that my skin was different. I used to be bullied so much because I constantly had rashes all over my body and a perpetually red face, and then I started using social media… the constant comparison as a teenager took its toll on me but then I found my love makeup. Through this, I reclaimed my power and slowly, but surely began my journey with self love and acceptance with my skin, sexuality and cultural identity.
