I did what I could okay!!!! but alas… Here’s the Green Fairy (Alright Hey’s Version) Surely we’ve all seen it, but if not, Kylie played The Green Fairy in the 2001 movie musical The Moulin Rouge (the stage show is now one of my favourite musicals ever). She is what can only be described as a hallucination after the bohemians decide to drink a bunch of absinthe… CAMP!!!! She just flies around and sings The Sound of Music. Honestly, it doesn’t make much sense to me either. The NSFA states the purpose of the cameo was to blur the line between playful innocence attributed to fairytale characters, and the sex appeal of a captivating siren. Very me actually xx Anyway, this is probably the “loosest” inspired look I’m doing all tour.
