French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu says he has asked several cities to impose "partial curfews" following a crisis cabinet meeting to address the weekend's violent protests. The mayors of Paris, Lyon and Marseilles said "entire sections" of their cities had been left unprotected during the riots - and called for an investigation into the police response.
