Tesla has unveiled its new and redesigned Roadster - a 'flying car' that can turn in the air and land. Developed in collaboration with CEO Elon Musk’s rocket company SpaceX, it's claimed the Roadster can accelerate from zero to 60mph in less than one second and can hit a top speed of over 230 mph. Tesla demonstrated the two-seater vehicle at a livestreamed event in Texas, showing it driving upside down on a ramp and performing a mid-air flip. Musk told the crowd, "It can basically fly like a rocket", but admitted it's "not necessarily a safety-optimised car." It remains unclear how the proposed flying features would work on public roads, or whether they would be legal. Production is set to start in 2028. #Tesla #Roadster #Musk #C4News
