The trial of the former leader of the DUP, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, has begun. In a court in Newry, he pleaded not guilty to 18 alleged historic sex offences. His wife Eleanor, who was charged with aiding and abetting her husband, has been ruled unfit to stand trial on mental health grounds.
