Speaking at a press conference in Downing Street, Starmer said evacuating people from the UAE was ‘a huge undertaking’ that wasn’t going to happen ‘overnight’. ‘It is one of the biggest operations of its kind, many times bigger than the evacuation from Afghanistan,’ he added. Over 4,000 people have now returned to the UK on commercial flights, and another seven flights are due to arrive in Britain later today. #UAE #UK #Starmer #Evacuations #Politics #C4News
