Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has been listed as a terrorist organisation by the European Union. Foreign ministers voted unanimously on the designation over deadly anti-regime protests in the country which have reportedly killed over 6,000 people. The move is largely symbolic but adds to the growing pressures on the Islamic Republic, which now also faces the threat of military action from US President Donald Trump.
