A former Conservative councillor has admitted drugging and raping his now ex-wife. Philip Young, formerly of Swindon, pleaded guilty to a string of sexual offences against Joanne Young over thirteen years. Ms Young, who has waived her legal right to anonymity, was at Winchester Crown Court today, where four other men charged with sexual offences against her pleaded not guilty.
