bandofhorses' 20th Anniversary celebration of Everything All The Time kicks off in Seattle with three sold-out shows, the first being at veraproject, where it all started.
Ben Bridwell chats with seattletimes about the Vera's significance:
"One of the first shows the Horses played was at Vera Project, and even the band I was previously in, Carissa’s Wierd, we played the Vera. We’ve had some great shows there. In some ideal world, there’s a Vera in every town, where kids and people that otherwise wouldn’t have the means to get really good training and teaching in the audio, video (and) the concert realms — it seems like such a dream. It’s like Willy Wonka for people who are perverts for sound, like me. If I had one here in Awendaw, South Carolina — population 2,000 — my kids would definitely be going there."
