This house of cards really did fall. 'American Horror Story' star Cody Fern says he was meant to play a "Jared Kushner type" as the main villain of 'House of Cards' season 6 before "everything exploded" and it became the show's final season with Robin Wright fully taking the reigns. Fern, who spoke to EW while promoting his directorial debut 'Closing Night' at TIFF, still appeared in the season, but says his character became more of a wallflower. #TIFF #TIF2026
