When Gwan Shik & Ae Sun were young, they had a lot of dreams. Ae Sun wanted to be a poet. Gwan Shik wanted to protect Ae Sun. They wanted to live the happiest lives, but neither knew what it would really take… I feel like this is the story I needed to watch. My parents have worked so, so, so hard to make their children’s lives great. From moving out of their home countries to working 24/7 to even the most minuscule of sacrifices, they did it all and MORE. Although I was watching the stories of Ae Sun & Gwan Shik, I felt like I was watching my parents’ story, and that made me cry even harder and feel even more pride.
