*For news purposes AI ‘chubby’ filters have been everywhere, and people have been mourning Becki Jones’ departure from social media, which she made to protect her mental health. We spoke to a TikTok spokesperson about the ‘AI Chubby Filter’, which they say "was uploaded by users to CapCut and has now been removed." At the time of publishing, we could still find templates on CapCut. They also said they’re “reviewing videos uploaded to our app that use the CapCut template and making them ineligible for recommendation, and blocking them from teen accounts,” adding, “when we find violations of our Community Guidelines, we will also remove those videos.” #beckijones #tiktok #aifilter #capcut #bekind
