Rebekah Vardy has lost her second court battle against fellow WAG Coleen Rooney after the judge ruled there was ‘no misconduct’ by Rooney’s team over the filing of legal fees. Vardy first took Rooney to court in 2022 for libel after Rooney posted a tweet claiming Vardy was selling private stories about her to the press. However, Vardy lost this case as the judge ruled the claims made by Rooney were “substantially true” and ordered Vardy to pay 90% of Rooney's legal fees, including an initial payment of £800,000. But in the latest battle, Vardy’s team took Rooney to court again claiming that the legal bill submitted by Rooney’s team (£1.8m) was more than 3 times the agreed cost budget of £540,000. They also challenged the “sheer magnitude” of the bill as it included a dinner at Nobu, a stay at a £600-a-night hotel, and drinks from a hotel minibar. But the judge found ‘no misconduct’, so Rebekah’s got to pay up. #wagatha #wagathachristie #wag #coleenrooney #rebekahvardy #court
