Award winning actress, former New York governor candidate, and member of the Democratic Socialists of America Cynthia Nixon is one of more than a dozen people currently on a hunger strike for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Israel has previously said it would be willing to extend the truce by a day for every ten captives released. Roughly 240 people were taken hostage on October 7, during the attack which ignited the current conflict. Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu has vowed to keep fighting Hamas after the ceasefire ends. #israel #israelgaza #israelpalestine #cynthianixon #sexandthecity #hungerstrike #whitehouse
