Hunter Schafer has opened up about undergoing gender-affirming bottom surgery, saying she loves the results 🥹 The Euphoria star shared the news in a new interview with Elle, revealing that she had the surgery in December. “I just had bottom surgery in December, which was amazing, and I love it so much,” she said. Hunter explained that she had long embraced a more gender-expansive identity, but ultimately realised that medically transitioning was right for her. She said her understanding of her gender is now simpler, telling the magazine, “I’m a woman. I’m a girl.” She also spoke about her recovery, sharing that she rented a large apartment so friends and family could visit her while she spent much of her time lying down. Hunter said she now just wants to focus on her life and her work. The 27-year-old is set to star in Amazon’s upcoming series Blade Runner 2099, and she’s also said she would love to see a trans girl rom-com one day.
