Nick, Jess, Schmidt, Winston, Cece and Coach back together has us feeling all the feels!!! The New Girl cast officially reunited on 10 October at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles. Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Hannah Simone and Damon Wayans Jr. were honoured with the charity’s first-ever Rising Phoenix Award, a nod to the show’s themes of fresh starts and second chances. The night came 15 years after the beloved sitcom first premiered on Fox, and fans have been beyond excited to see the loft gang together again. There was some confusion over the summer after Max told fans he’d read “amazing” scripts for a reunion, before admitting he’d got the wrong end of the stick: “I misread the email.” Creator Liz Meriwether has since confirmed there are no current plans for a revival, but seeing them all on one red carpet is honestly the next best thing.
